This transformative project centered around the conversion of a disused section of the factory into functional and modern office space.

The constraints of working with existing structures are always challenging. Our proposal includes a new balcony that offers access to daylight and view. Natural light in the workplace is hugely important, and a view to the outside of the building provides important information about the time of the day which helps maintain our biological cycles.

Improving performance, satisfaction, and well-being of the workers, whilst bringing nature inside were our main goals with this design.

MEDITE SMARTPLY is Ireland’s leading producer of innovative, environmentally friendly wood panel products, they are continuously bringing sustainability to the forefront and we wanted to create offices that are an extension of their identity.
